The complete message is "A Media Driver Your Computer Needs is Missing. This could be a DVD, USB or Hard disk driver. If you have a CD, DVD, or USB flash drive with the driver on it, please insert it now.  Note: if the installation media for windows is in the DVD drive or on a USB drive, you can safely remove it fro this step".   3. You can use a better quality DVD to create the Windows installation DVD.
  4. Use Rufus to create a bootable USB flash drive, and then use the USB flash drive to install Windows on your computer server.

Using Rufus to create bootable USB Flash drive.

  1. To create a bootable USB flash drive you need the following file on your computer first.
    • Rufus.
    • Windows server 2012 ISO Image

Boot HP Proliant ML10v2 Server From USB Flash Drive.

On the next step, yu must boot HP Proliant ML10v2 server from USB flash drive, in order to install windows OS from this USB stick previously create using Rufus.
  1. Turn on your computer Server.
  2. Then enter to BIOS setting by press F9 on your keyboard during Post booting.
  3. Once you enter BIOS setting, navigate the menu using arrow keyboard button.

  4. Now, highlight standard Boot Order (IPL) then press enter.
  5. At the next screen, you can highlight your USB flash drive (for example, IPL: 3 USB DriveKey), then press enter.

  6. Now, select which order you want to apply to this USB flash drive. You must select 1 of 5 option available at this menu.
    • Set the IPL Device Boot Order to 1
    • Set the IPL Device Boot Order to 2
    • Set the IPL Device Boot Order to 3
    • Set the IPL Device Boot Order to 4
    • Set the IPL Device Boot Order to 5

  7. If you want your HP Proliant ML10v2 boot from the USB flash drive, you can select Set the IPL Device Boot Order to 1
  8. Now, you can press F10 to save and exit the BIOS utility.

  9. Finish, once your server boot at the first time it will load USB flash drive content.
